Area of Responsibility

As a member of the KZenEdge team, this position’s primary responsibilities include producing a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses. Typically this role will be part of a project team where we document the policies, practices, procedures and forms. There is an extension/alignment to document management. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to work on multiple assignments while adhering to industry and corporate standards.

Position Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in business or technical discipline
  • Proven experience working in a technical writing position
  • Experience preparing written materials, documents, training materials, and/or end-user manuals
  • Strong problem solving, analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities, strong team skills and ability to independently handle multiple and concurrent priorities
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strict requirements for confidentiality
  • Client focused and results oriented
  • Project management experience is an asset
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Manage new and updated templates and content for various business functions within manuals including collaborating with various project stakeholders from the draft to final approved stages
  • Interpret internal business needs and recommend best practices for documentation for efficiency, sustainability, and productivity
  • Recommend, develop, and maintain systems for managing, presenting, and archiving documentation
  • Develop templates/standards and convey to collaborating authors how to effectively use writing tools
  • Publish new and updated content on the project site (i.e. SharePoint)
  • Assist in coordinating and rolling out end-user training
  • Other activities as required to support the Organizational Change Management, Communication and Training Team
Terms & Conditions:
  • Contract or Employee Status with KZenEdge Inc.
  • Salary negotiable but commensurate with experience
  • Start variable depending on personal situation and client requirements
  • Potential for additional and off-site (home) activities
  • Potential for on-site client supplied PC, Software, Printer
  • Remote access potential
  • Selection Process - KZenEdge will conduct internal interviews with selected candidates
